White Bleach
White Bleach
White Bleach Limited Edition AP +10 Digital Pigment Print
Increased global temperatures leads to warmer oceans, particularly in tropical coral regions such as the Great Barrier Reef. Millions of colourful microscopic coral polyps are responsible for building coral reefs over thousands of years but they are killed by warm water, reducing the coral to slowly dissolving, pale skeletal rubble. The orchid has pale, slightly over exposed petals with very little colour. Hidden within are flames to symbolise the cause of increased ocean temperatures and the resulting bleaching.
