Antipodes Art Studio Sessions Painting Lesson Sample

Let’s say your personal interest is ‘sea scapes’…

Beginner sessions might cover using the paint and brushes correctly. Colour mixing basics and techniques to create 3D space, perspective and composition of sea scapes.

If you can already paint we could start with complex compositions, colour mixing for depth, lighting and atmospheric perspective as well as techniques for detail and realism in the sea scape foreground.

Sessions would start with quick colour and brushwork exercises then transition to more complex tasks. You would be encouraged to work towards a final painting of your chosen sea scape.
