Meet Naida
I'm Naida Ginnane: a trained Art Teacher, artist, and photographer based in Noosa Heads, Queensland. With a Bachelor of Education (Art) and a Master of Education, I've spent more than 35 years teaching Visual Arts across Australia. I've spent most of my life making and teaching art — and I feel genuinely blessed to still love it as much as I did at the start.
'Things Unseen' is the idea at the heart of my work. I'm fascinated by detail and abstraction, in both photography and drawing: imagery that's expressive, sometimes ambiguous, but always beautiful. My aim is to intrigue the viewer, hinting at something just out of reach and inviting them to find their own meaning.
